My Sorter is a mapping tool for critical thinking. It is a personal organiser, a secure note-taker, and analysis /presenation tool. You put notes, people, ideas and pictures on it, draw the connections between them, and then find your way round by following those connections, searching, or taking a guided journey someone has laid out. Each sorter is one file you own: it works in any browser with nothing to install and no account, and it can be published as a single page to hand to someone else. A series of sorters can travel together in one download. For a team, it turns learning into something connected to people: what each person has noticed, explored and might try next, all in one map.
This downloadable sorter comes with a market analysis on 4 sectors:
Four sets of 100 customer comments, side by side: energy, banking, mobile and broadband, and supermarkets. Each set has its own sorter; this one is about what they share and where they differ.
Patterns by sector: twelve patterns, with examples from each sector, and gaps where a sector doesn't have one.
Four centres of gravity: what each sector's comments lean on, and what only happens there.
What's underneath, compared: thirteen needs, and how much each sector leans on them.
Where it's most charged: the hottest moment in each sector.
In numbers and What we learn: six charts and nine insights.
Comments are coloured by sector. Search for a word, like fair or scam, to see it across all four.
